TIPS : egg replacer
i started to look online for recipes with no egg then i came across this egg re-placer or substitute. i ordered it online and it is very easy to used. you can make almost everything that required eggs with this thing. soon after i found out that whole foods supermarket carries this. i used this to baked a cake, muffin, bread. but one thing NEVER tried to make scramble egg or any type of fried egg with this thing. i LEARNED that the hard way. but you should try it and i know you will like it. this becomes handy for baking. hope you will give it a try and let me know.
beef with onion and green pepper
this is one of my kids favorite dish. my ex mother in law taught me how to make it, then i improvise it a little.
ingredients :
4 T-bone steak beef
1 medium onion sliced
1 green bell pepper sliced
1 clove of garlic
dash of sugar
adobo seasoning
salt and pepper to taste
lime juice to marinade
directions:
- slice the onion and green pepper, set aside
- seasoned the steak beef with adobo and lime juice. then leave it for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- heat oil on a large skillet with a dash of sugar on a medium - high heat.
- when the sugar turned brown add the steak and fried it both side until its browned.
- after its brown on both side make sure the steak is cook thoroughly. set aside on plate.
- using the same oil add the onion and green pepper. cook it for 5 minutes or until the onion is soft.
- then add the steak back in the skillet, add 3/4 cups of water. and seasoned to taste.
- cover and cook it for another 10 minutes on low heat or until most of the water is gone.
serve over cooked white rice.

homemade egg roll (NO EGG)
I create this recipe based on my kids likes. they love egg roll so i created one with no EGG. its really simple and easy.
Ingredients :
- 2 cups of bean sprout
- 1 whole carrots thinly slice in small size
- 1 pound of ground pork
- 1 stalk celery chopped
- 1 cup of cabbage thinly slice
- 1 bean thread or mung bean thread (this is usually available in an Asian market comes in 6 - 8 piece per bag, i only used 1)
- 15 - 20 egg roll skin wrapper or you can use spring roll wrapper
- 1 shallot
- 1 clove of garlic
seasoned it with salt and pepper to taste.
Directions:
- combined all the veggies in a large bowl.
- then boil the bean thread in a hot water for 5 minutes, strained it and set aside.
- heat oil in a medium skillet over medium high heat.
- then add the garlic and shallot
- cooked it for 5 minutes or until garlic turns a little brown.
- then add the ground pork
- cook it for 15 minutes or until all the pork turns brown
- then add the veggies mix and bean thread into skillet.
- cook it for 15 minutes or until the cabbage and carrots is soft. then you set it aside.
- then you separate the egg roll skin wrapper or spring roll skin wrapper.
- add 1 heap tbsp of the veggies mixture into the wrapper the fold it and wrap it. follow direction on the back of the plastic on how to fold it.
- then fried the egg roll in a medium skillet on a medium heat. until it turns brown on both side.
- serve it with hot sauce or sweet and sour sauce.

Fried Rice with Salami
My kids love fried rice so much, i have to make it at least once every week in our house. it is very simple and easy.
ingredients:
- 4 cups cooked rice
- 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
- 1 small sweet onion (chopped)
- 5 tbsp olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups of beef salami
- 5 tbsp of sweet soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp of soy sauce
- dash of salt ( or to taste)
- dash of pepper (or to taste)
- dash of onion powder
- dash of garlic powder
directions:
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- then add the garlic in and cook it for 5 minutes or until brown
- then add the onion and cook it for 5 minutes or until onion is tender
- then add the salami
- add the rice and the remaining ingredients.
cook it until all the ingredients combined together. serve it and and top it with fried crispy onion or french fried onion.

Beef stew with corn
This recipe is something that i created, most of the ingredients is the same like beef stew (carne guisada) but i added corn in it.
ingredients :
- 2 pound of beef stew meat
- 3 tbsp od olive oil
- 1 tsp of garlic
- 1 cup of onion
- 1 cup of green pepper
- 1 can of 16 oz corn
- 1/2 can of 15 oz tomato sauce
- 2 packet of sazon goya
- 1 1/2 cups of water
- 1/4 tsp of garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp of onion powder
- dash of oregano
- dash of salt
- dash of pepper
directions:
- heat the oil in a wok pan on a medium high.
- add the garlic and cooked until it turns brown, then add the meat
- cover it then let it cook for 20 minutes or until all the water is gone. then add the onion and green pepper.
- then you add the tomato sauce, water, sazon
- cook it for 10 minutes. then add the corn and the rest of the seasoning.
- cook it for another 10-20 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
serve it over a hot white rice or spanish rice.

Tomato-basil bruschetta
This is one of my favorite appetizers. its very easy to make, and my kids love it.
ingredients :
- 2 Large tomatoes
- 2 Cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup of fresh basil
- 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 16 inch baguette
directions :
- Heat the oven to 450 degree.
-chopped the tomatoes
- peel the garlic and finely chop them
- then you combined all the ingredients in a large bowl. set them aside
- then you slice the baguette into 1/2 inch and put them in a ungreased cookie sheet.
- then spoon the tomato-basil mixture onto the bread.
- then put it in the oven for about 6-8 minutes ot until the edges turns brown.
- serve it warm and enjoy...
